Description
Daiki Tomii, known as “Tomii” or “Mii,” spent his childhood at Yamabiko Friends orphanage from age five, with no memory of his biological parents. His idol journey ignited when Minoru Tomii—a retired member of the original Shōnen Hollywood group sharing his surname—visited the orphanage and inspired him to chase his dreams. Daiki later joined the group’s new generation as its “Good Luck Charm,” adopting Minoru’s yellow motif and legacy.

Naturally cheerful, Daiki radiates enthusiasm, acting as the group’s heart despite occasional pressure-induced doubts. His optimism veils fleeting insecurities, especially when juggling idol duties with personal hurdles. He remains deeply connected to his orphanage, frequently visiting to mentor the children. Within the group, he bonds with Kira Saeki through playful antics like summer camp pranks, while Minoru evolves from idol to mentor, guiding him toward an acting debut in “Migratory Bird Cop.”

Daiki wrestles with guilt over opportunities like his drama role, fearing they stem from legacy rather than merit. Determined to honor his predecessor, he collects original Shōnen Hollywood memorabilia and channels their spirit into performances. His hobbies include sports and reading, and he favors bowl dishes and sweets. The song “Eien Never Ever” serves as both tribute and bridge to the group’s past.

His arc—orphan turned idol—underscores themes of self-discovery and legacy. Through communal support and resilience, he navigates the idol industry, striving to carve his identity while upholding the history that shaped him.
