Description
Mikleo was born human in Camlann to Muse, sister of the former Shepherd Michael. Separated from his mother and mortally wounded during the Hyland military raid called the Dawn of Chaos, he was sacrificed by his malevolence-consumed uncle Michael to curse Lord Heldalf. Muse's intervention and love caused his rebirth as a Water seraph. Zenrus, leader of Elysia's seraphim, took Mikleo and the orphaned human infant Sorey to raise them, intending they might become Shepherd and Sub Lord to bridge human-seraph relations.

His appearance features silver-white hair with saturated blue tips, lavender eyes, and a distinctive gold circlet bearing a central emerald inherited from his mother. He wears a cyan shirt with gold and white embellishments, a blue cape, white pants with light blue cuffs, and black shoes. Depictions of his older self show longer hair often tied back, adding a black undershirt and brown gloves to his attire.

Analytical and reserved, Mikleo typically counters Sorey's impulsiveness. He exhibits strong loyalty, viewing Sorey as both his closest friend and rival. Their bond manifests in shared pursuits like ancient ruins research and frequent debates. While generally composed, he shows visible agitation when teased by Edna, who nicknames him "Meebo." He works diligently to compensate for his shorter experience as a seraph compared to centuries-old peers. Notable traits include a fear of dogs, an inability to swim despite being a Water seraph, culinary skill with cold dishes, and struggles with heated cooking.

In combat, Mikleo functions as a mid-range fighter specializing in Water-elemental artes, wielding a staff chosen for its reach against Sorey's larger physique. His staff is Earth-aligned—a suboptimal element for a Water seraph—interpreted by some as deliberate training to overcome limitations. His artes encompass water and ice projectiles, spinning staff strikes, and potent single-target healing spells. High Arte Defense grants him advantage against arte-using enemies. He can perform the mystic arte "Final Player" in specific scenarios.

Expanded media explores alternate developments: In "Tales of Asteria," a fractured dimension storyline depicts him sealing a corrupted Sorey and reluctantly resolving to kill him as a mercy. "Tales of Crestoria" shows him cautiously assisting Sorey with holiday deliveries alongside characters like Leon Magnus, mindful of human-seraph visibility. The "Convergence Series" portrays his involvement in multiverse conflicts, including aiding wounded allies during a Coalition Civil War. He succumbs to battlefield malevolence in the Revanchist War, transforming into a dragon and being destroyed despite Sorey's refusal to harm him.

His relationship with Sorey remains central across all media, characterized by deep mutual trust and shared aspirations for human-seraph coexistence. Interactions feature collaborative exploration, competitive debates, and protective instincts. While some interpretations suggest romantic undertones through shared private moments or symbolic gestures like mutual haircuts, these remain subtextual rather than explicit confirmations.
