Both were deployed by Olympus to dismantle dormant superweapons left from a global war, tying Olson’s past directly to the organization’s covert operations. During a joint mission, Olson exposes sabotage orchestrated by Two Horns’ mechanic, who deliberately crippled Briareos’ systems to manipulate the protagonists. This revelation forces a temporary alliance between Olson, Iris, and the group, with Olson’s insider knowledge of Olympus proving vital as hostile forces close in. His arc reaches its peak when Talos, a rogue Olympus agent, captures him. Using invasive neural interrogation, Talos extracts intel on a prototype superweapon’s coordinates from Olson’s memories, resulting in Olson’s fatal neural collapse. His death galvanizes the protagonists to confront Talos and halt the weapon’s activation.
