Description
Nagisa Saitō, a human with indigo hair, gray eyes, and tan skin, dons the Lemon Beach House uniform while balancing part-time work with high school studies. Her job choice stems from a passion for the ocean, which fuels her surfing hobby alongside biking, jump rope, and a fondness for magical girl or tokusatsu shows.
Driven by an intense fear of Squid Girl—whom she deems a legitimate threat to humanity—Nagisa clashes with coworkers who dismiss her concerns, leading her to suspect their nonchalance results from brainwashing. Squid Girl amplifies this tension by theatrically exaggerating her powers to unsettle Nagisa further. Eventually, Nagisa redirects her wariness toward Chizuru Aizawa after witnessing her formidable competence.
To counter Squid Girl’s provocations, Nagisa experiments with a boyish disguise, slicking her hair back to attract female patrons, but abandons the ruse upon accepting the need to confront Squid Girl’s antics directly.
