Description
Originally named La Andromeda Promethium, she began as Yayoi Yukino, the Millennial Queen from the planet La Metal. Arriving on Earth as an infant, she was adopted by an elderly couple. Her time on Earth fostered deep human connections through work at an observatory and relationships with colleagues. This compassion and attachment led her to rebel against her biological mother Larela's plan to enslave humanity, choosing instead to protect Earth while maintaining ties to La Metal's colonists. After defeating Larela in a duel, Yayoi returned to La Metal to address its environmental crises, ruling peacefully for an extended period.
Facing La Metal's deteriorating artificial sun, Promethium initiated a mechanization program to preserve her civilization. She collaborated with her husband Dr. Ban, though their daughters Maetel and Emeraldas opposed it. During her own mechanization procedure, scientist Hardgear interfered, corrupting the process. This transformed Promethium from a benevolent ruler into a cold, machine-dominated entity. Before losing her free will, she sent her daughters away aboard the Galaxy Express 999. She later assimilated Hardgear, consolidating power to become an absolute tyrant who enforced mechanization across her empire.
