Description
Kotone Sawanatsu, a driven and fiercely ambitious martial arts prodigy, honed her skills under a karate master parent, dominating three elementary school championships before pivoting to soft tennis at Shiratama Middle School. Her relentless athleticism and stubborn resolve push her to excel, though her karate-forged power frequently overwhelms her shots, launching balls past the court.

Competitive to her core, Kotone battles a volatile temper when struggling to rein in her strength, sometimes spiraling into frenzied outbursts mid-match. Seeking control, she trains privately with team coach Hiroshi Mishimagi, whose guidance stirs unspoken affection—a tension magnified by rival Elizabeth Warren’s pursuit of his attention.

Unaware soft tennis lacks a Wimbledon stage, Kotone dreams of competing there, her ambition undeterred. Her tsundere nature surfaces in brusque yet caring interactions with teammates, rejecting praise with flustered defiance when labeled "cute" or "pretty." Averse to darkness and magnet for misfired serves—often Asuna’s striking her head during drills—she balances intensity with accidental comedy.

Her fiery rivalry with Sumino Kiba, a mirror-image opponent from a rival school, fuels spirited clashes and mutual respect. Kotone’s zeal spills into inventing dramatic attack names for teammates, blending martial arts flair with tennis strategy. Despite setbacks, she perseveres in tempering raw power with precision, navigating burgeoning emotions for Mishimagi and fostering team bonds, all while chasing growth on and off the court.
