Description
Tauryū, an Umbra engineered as a weapon of mass destruction destined to self-destruct after use, found his fate transformed when Sha Rijan affixed a talisman to his forehead. This act granted him a heart, suppressed his destructive instincts, and veiled his eyes without impairing his sight. When the talisman shattered during a forced reversion to his weaponized state, Baileu Ton harnessed her inherited ring’s magic to forge a new one, stabilizing him and deepening his empathetic capacities.

His appearance features blunt bangs obscuring his eyes and a lone braid trailing his left temple. He alternates between a sleek Café Forbidden waiter uniform and a black-and-purple mission ensemble crowned with a round-top hat. Though he clings to a utilitarian self-identity, viewing himself as a tool bound by unwavering loyalty, figures like Ton persistently affirm his humanity, highlighting his capacity for friendship. Protective of Ton due to her echoes of Sha Rijan, he mentors her on poise and image while respecting her distinct identity.

Endowed with immortality, pain immunity, rapid regeneration, and mastery over firearms summoned from his sleeves—traits rooted in his Jiangshi origins as a reanimated corpse—he embodies both lethality and resilience. His history traces to a violent clash with Sha Rijan, quelled only by her talisman’s influence. Later integrated into Café Forbidden’s team, he works alongside Vlad and Luke, unaware of their sporadic envy over his bond with Ton.

A pivotal rupture of his talisman once unleashed his rampage, halted solely by Ton’s intervention, revealing his dependence on external anchors to preserve his humanity. His ties include a reverent connection to Sha Rijan, who first acknowledged him beyond monstrosity, and a cordial yet occasionally strained rapport with Café colleagues. Gradually, he evolves into a paradox of deadly precision and burgeoning compassion, molded by allies who cherish him beyond mere utility.
