Description
Ieyasu embodies the anthropomorphized spirit of a matchlock gun historically wielded by Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founding shōgun of the Edo shogunate. Crafted by Tokugawa gunsmith Noda Kiyotaka, this firearm echoes its owner’s legendary marksmanship, including the unique ability to strike distant targets others could not reach.

Standing 175 cm tall, he has fair skin, short black hair parted left, and narrow dark gray eyes with angular contours. His expressions balance neutral dignity and refined smiles, reflecting disciplined composure. Duty, honor, and adherence to the samurai code define his character, driven by devotion to his namesake’s legacy. He openly acknowledges unfamiliarity in new environments yet pursues valiant service with resolve. His interests include cultural exchange, tea, and tempura—traditions rooted in historical Japanese culture.

In a post-apocalyptic world shattered by nuclear war and ruled by the oppressive World Empire, Ieyasu serves as a Noble Musketeer. These awakened incarnations of antique firearms form a resistance force; with modern weapons banned, they symbolize rebellion against the Empire. Ieyasu battles alongside fellow Musketeers, activating an "Absolute Noble" state to amplify combat prowess against the Empire’s modern-weapon incarnations, advancing the resistance’s struggle to restore hope and freedom.

His primary bond is with Hidetada—the anthropomorphized gun of Tokugawa Hidetada, the second Edo shōgun. Their shared Tokugawa lineage forges mutual support and purpose, frequently uniting them in resistance operations. Game adaptations feature multiple variants of Ieyasu with differing combat statistics like attack power, evasion, and accuracy, though these variations preserve his core narrative identity.

His background consistently draws from his historical origin as Tokugawa Ieyasu’s firearm, shaping his disciplined perspective and cultural affinities.
