Description
Ichika Mizuhara, a 17-year-old girl, gains a 14-year-old stepbrother, Tomoya Mizuhara, when their parents remarry. This fulfills her long-standing desire for a younger brother to call her "onee-chan." Before their official meeting, she conducted detailed investigations into Tomoya's life, gathering extensive information. Upon seeing him for the first time, she is immediately captivated by his appearance, finding him exceptionally cute, which sparks an intense fixation.

Her personality is outspoken and passionate, frequently manifesting as possessiveness and overprotectiveness toward Tomoya. She persistently attempts to enter his room and impose her affection, including frequent efforts to hug him or take photographs. This extends to discreetly following him to school or observing him without his knowledge. She views any interactions Tomoya has with other girls, particularly his classmate Mina Fujisaki, with jealousy, seeing them as rivals. Her friends, Ruri Hayasaka and Marina Mochizuki, share her enthusiasm for Tomoya's adorability but do not mirror her obsessive conduct.

While overwhelmingly affectionate toward Tomoya, Ichika displays a dismissive attitude toward her own younger brother, Kōki Hayasaka (later revealed as Ruri's brother), treating him harshly despite his secret admiration. Her actions sometimes cause household friction, such as Tomoya struggling to maintain boundaries against her intrusions.

Minor adaptations emerge in how she expresses her feelings. During Christmas, she receives a gift from Tomoya, indicating a reciprocal, if reluctant, acknowledgment of their relationship. At a public swimming pool outing, she participates in group activities without dominating Tomoya's interactions. When encountering Marina's half-brother, Sōichirō Fuji, she tolerates his attention despite his persistent comparisons of her to a gal-game character, showing a degree of patience absent earlier. These situations suggest a gradual, though limited, maturation. Her core motivation remains ensuring Tomoya's closeness and affirming her role as his cherished older sister.
