Description
Rikotto is one of three intelligent furry creatures inhabiting an isolated island undiscovered by humans. Sharing this secluded life with companions Zuzu and Paroru, Rikotto holds the conviction that the world beyond their shores is perilous, yet simultaneously nurtures a powerful fascination with human civilization. This fascination is ignited by encountering enigmatic objects washed ashore, fueling a deep desire to uncover their origins. Contrasting Paroru's caution and Zuzu's collector mentality, Rikotto displays an adventurous and impulsive nature. Discovering a photograph of human-world fireworks cements Rikotto's determination to witness this spectacle firsthand, driven by an affinity for shiny and dazzling objects. This discovery directly propels Rikotto to persuade Zuzu into helping build a boat for an off-island voyage, overcoming Paroru's reluctance and convincing both companions to join the journey.

Rikotto experiences profound excitement and wonder upon reaching the human world, mirroring the group's initial reactions. This exploration leads to their capture by a circus ringleader intent on exhibiting them. During captivity, Rikotto plays no active part in securing freedom, relying entirely on Paroru's intervention for rescue. Following this, the group returns to their island. Rikotto's character development centers exclusively on the transition from island-bound curiosity to direct experience of the outside world's dangers, culminating in the safe return home. Relationships are defined by interactions with Zuzu and Paroru throughout their shared adventure, particularly Rikotto's role in initiating the journey and the subsequent reliance on Paroru during the crisis in the human city.
