Description
Noël is one half of a pair of twin flintlock pistols that were a gift to Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. These pistols were crafted by the renowned gunsmith Nicolas Noël Boutet, who served as the director of the Versailles rifle manufactory. Napoleon cherished the pair deeply, referring to them as his pistols of Versailles, and kept them with him even during his exile on the island of Saint Helena. Upon his death, the pistols were bequeathed to his son through his will. In the world of the anime, these historic firearms are reimagined as Noble Musketeers, humanoid incarnations known as Kijuushi, who fight for the resistance against the forces of the Empire. Noël is the younger of the twin brothers, with his older twin named Nicola. Their names come from sharing the full name of their creator, Boutet.
