Griff is a traveling companion of Haru and Elie, possessing an oval, gelatinous body. His appearance includes entirely black eyes, a long nose, thick lips, thin arms ending in three-fingered hands, and multiple tentacles serving as legs. Griff exhibits perverted tendencies, consistently expressing a desire to embrace young women specifically to touch their chests. Within the main Rave Master narrative, Griff joins Haru's group early in their journey. He aids the group on missions, such as infiltrating locations by crawling through air vents alongside Plue. Griff primarily serves as comic relief through exaggerated reactions and displays of jealousy directed at Plue's closeness with Elie. During the Fairy Tail x Rave crossover event, Griff appears with Haru's group during a visit to a distant town. When Haru and Elie become separated from their companions, Griff and Plue locate Elie and encounter Lucy Heartfilia and Happy. Lucy initially mistakes Griff and Plue for Celestial Spirits due to Plue's resemblance to her own Celestial Spirit of the same name. Later, explosions erupt from a casino during a fight between Natsu Dragneel and Haru, prompting Griff to suggest investigating the disturbance. The crossover concludes with Griff driving the group's wagon as they depart.
