Nijika Kohinata is a 12-year-old female student with blonde hair and blue eyes whose mature appearance frequently causes others to mistake her for a high school or middle school student. She is the daughter of the late legendary actress Saori Fujimiya, who died when Nijika was young, and Itsuki Kohinata, chief of an artist management office within a television station.

After her mother's death, Nijika nurtured an aversion to the entertainment industry, abandoning her childhood dream of acting alongside her mother. She actively avoids show business and hides her family background, including her father's occupation, to prevent attention from peers. Nijika also conceals a significant secret: she lives with 14-year-old actor Tōya Ichinose, a widely admired "prince-like" figure, fearing discovery would cause scandal.
