Description
Gubaba, also called Guvava, is a furball-like alien creature of the Gyarashi species from the planet Pukirases V. This species possesses thick fur, large eyes, and a tail used for swinging and propulsion, yet is considered a low form of life on a home world teeming with predators.

In 2036, Gubaba was discovered injured and alone by Maximilian Jenius after escaping a predator that had consumed its parent. The creature was found clutching the tail of its lost parent, having narrowly survived being stepped on and left for dead. Jenius rescued Gubaba and brought it home to his five-year-old daughter, Mylene Flare Jenius, for her to care for.

Mylene nursed the creature back to health, forging a deep bond. Initially withdrawn, Gubaba grew fiercely devoted to her, accompanying her nearly everywhere, from school to concerts and even space battles. It is often seen perched on Mylene's shoulder, and she considers it a close friend and a part of herself, not merely a pet.

A significant trait is Gubaba's telepathic link to Mylene, which allows it to understand her speech, seek her out when separated, and sense her emotions and danger. It communicates through squeaks and mirrors her moods through its expressions.

Gubaba has demonstrated protective instincts on multiple occasions. When Mylene was kidnapped by agents of the Protodeviln, it used its telepathic ability to transmit music from Basara Nekki to her, prompting her to sing. This act enabled Gubaba to lead others to her location. In another instance, when a woman drugged Mylene with ill intent, Gubaba immediately ran to alert her friends, Veffidas Feaze and Ray Lovelock, enabling them to intervene and prevent harm.

It serves as a constant companion within the musical group Fire Bomber, fulfilling the role of a team pet. Gubaba's presence remains a consistent feature in Mylene's life, marking a bond that transcends that of a typical pet and owner.
