Description
Emily Asuno, originally Emily Amonde, stands as a central figure throughout the Mobile Suit Gundam AGE narrative. Born and raised on the space colony Nora, she forms a deep childhood bond with Flit Asuno, consistently demonstrating concern for his safety. When the UE (later revealed as Vagan) attack Nora in A.G. 115, she disregards evacuation orders to follow Flit onto the Earth Federation battleship Diva, cementing her commitment to him despite the perils of war.

A defining internal conflict shapes her character: torn between understanding Flit's drive to fight the UE/Vagan with the Gundam and her own desire to shield him from battle. This leads her to initially attempt distancing him from combat, like accepting Woolf Enneacle's challenge for the Gundam, hoping a loss would remove him from the battlefield. However, a pivotal conversation with Laraparly Madorna shifts her perspective; advised to support Flit fully if she wishes to remain by his side, she resolves to join the Diva's crew permanently and backs his mission, endorsing Grodek Ainoa's command despite prior distrust. She actively participates in critical events, aiding Flit's rescue from Zalam custody on Fardain and assisting civilians like Iwark Briar and his daughter Riria during factional conflicts there.

After the Ambat operation, she marries Flit, taking the surname Asuno. Their marriage produces two children: Asemu, whose birth involved a grueling 24-hour labor with Flit's support, and Unoa. By the second generation (A.G. 141), she is an accomplished computer technician, collaborating with Flit on technological endeavors. During the Vagan invasion of Olivernotes in the third generation (A.G. 164), she evacuates with her daughter-in-law Romary to a neighboring town. Novel expansions reveal that prior to the attack, she and Romary traveled to space on business, meeting Unoa and contributing to developing a "Gundam capable of handling X-Rounders" and creating a spare AGE Builder.

While the OVA *Memory of Eden* refocuses on Asemu Asuno and Zeheart Galette's storyline, it introduces no new narrative elements or developments for Emily beyond her established role in the television series and novels. Her character arc concludes with her enduring presence as a matriarchal figure within the Asuno family, involved in technological support and humanitarian efforts during the war's final phases.
