OVA
Description
Chime Gen, alias Ruri Kazuma, hails from Ehime Prefecture's mountains. His appearance blends feminine sensitivity with playful, weak eyes, embodying a pretty boy aesthetic. He shared a close childhood bond with his brother Chisei Gen, a relationship shattered by bloodline instability fears. Deemed prone to becoming a Death Servitor, Chime was imprisoned as a "sinner" while Chisei was groomed as the Hydras' next leader, fostering Chime's jealousy and aversion.

During Chisei's Hydras assignments, Chime's fragile mental state left him vulnerable to Osho's manipulation. Deceived into accepting apparent Death Servitor powers, he commenced a secret campaign of killing girls in their town, preserving them as specimens. The Hydras discovered the crimes and dispatched Chisei to eliminate the unknown perpetrator. Upon confronting his brother, Chime questioned him about handling wrongdoing; receiving no reply solidified his resolve to continue. At the annual town ritual, Chime destroyed the event and killed the Witch maiden, leading to a confrontation where he revealed himself as Chisei's target. Chisei's blade struck him down.

Chime survived this death and sought revenge against Chisei and the Hydras, despite retaining deep-seated admiration for his brother. He formally joined Osho as second-in-command of the Devil Clan. During this time, he gained fame as the idol Ruri Kazuma, accruing numerous fans, and encountered Kogure Sakurai, who later became another Devil Clan commander. Simultaneously, Chime plotted Osho's downfall. When this initial plan failed, he enlisted Team Caesar's assistance.

Within the dream world, Chime, as Ruri Kazuma, utilized the EX-Dream Beast to kill Chisei. Osho then reappeared, revealing Chime was never a true Death Servitor. His actions stemmed instead from the awakening of his darker split personality, Ruri Kazuma. Osho disclosed that every event, including Chime's downfall, was part of his orchestrated scheme. Chime perished during Osho's subsequent ritual involving Erii. Throughout his life, Chime regarded Chisei as his most important person and yearned to restore their fraternal bond to its former innocence.

His combat abilities include "Falling Moon," unleashing sword strikes that deal heavy damage to multiple enemies while reducing their attack potency. His ultimate technique, "Izanami's Dance," generates a protective shield absorbing damage and granting temporary damage reduction. The passive skill "Susanoou Mikoto" enhances his physical and magical defenses. Notably, the "me" in his given name translates to "girl," and despite sharing an entity, Chime and Ruri Kazuma exhibit different blood types.
