Description
Sho Grif is the elder brother of Koh Grif and the son of the Grif Financial Group's head. A sixth-grader around 12 years old, Sho wields the Ventus attribute. His guardian Bakugan is Van Falco, which evolves into Tri Falco and later Rashow Falco after repairs following heavy damage. Despite being older, Sho's tall, thin frame often causes him to be mistaken for the younger sibling. He has yellow eyes and shoulder-length lime green hair, usually covered by an aviator helmet. Shark-like teeth complement his frequently exaggerated facial expressions. Sho wears a school uniform with green linings, later adding a visor-equipped helmet after his Bakugan's evolution.
Sho displays a pronounced brother complex, constantly worrying over Koh and exhibiting extreme attachment, including bathing and sleeping together. This protectiveness drives his actions, such as challenging Harubaru after Koh's defeat and enrolling with Koh in the Bakugan Dojo. He experiences intense emotional reactions to Koh's battles and regularly confides in Van Falco. Sho eventually joins Team Dragaon alongside Harubaru, Raichi, and Koh to compete in the Tavanel Cup.
His battle record is predominantly unfavorable. Sho debuted in the anime losing to Raichi when Van Falco crashed into a dojo wall. Further defeats include a tag-team loss with Koh against Raichi and Harubaru, another loss alongside Harubaru and Raichi against Tohga, and a tag loss with Koh against Zakuro. His sole victory is against Koh. Manga battles also resulted in losses, including a tag match with Koh and Raichi against Zakuro and another with Koh against Catol and P-Man. During the *BakuTech! Bakugan Gachi* season, Sho participates in battles absent from the manga, such as a confrontation with Nivil.
Sho's name comes from the kanji for "soaring" (翔), shared with Van Falco's Japanese name, and also signifies "prosperity." His first-person pronoun is "Boku."
