Takumi Nishi serves as a sky lift operator at the Taira Ski Area, tasked with preparing the lifts for the winter season. He first meets Natsuko Ishikura when he helps her with a malfunctioning vending machine, leading to a series of further encounters.

Natsuko later requests a private ride on the sky lift. Though hesitant at first, Takumi arranges the ride after gaining approval from his manager. During the ascent, Natsuko confesses her romantic feelings for him, having watched him at work—a moment that shifts their relationship.

They go on a date climbing a mountain, and their connection deepens. During a visit to the Nanto City Botanical Garden Floral Park, they share a kiss at sunset, marking a new stage in their romance.
