Nigenji is a male samurai who sports both black and grey hair and grey eyes. Visible bandages and a scar mark his warrior's appearance.

While traveling, he confronts a massive white bear, initially mistaking it for the demon plaguing a nearby village. Reaching the settlement, desperate inhabitants reveal their true tormentor: a red-skinned ogre. This creature has killed or gravely wounded most of their fighters and repeatedly abducts their first-born daughters. With hope nearly extinguished, the villagers implore Nigenji to face the ogre.

Despite their despair, Nigenji voices a firm conviction that victory is attainable. He stresses that mutual trust and an unwavering belief in their success are essential to overcoming the threat.
