Description
Alice Color is a significant figure encountered during the protagonist's journey. He possesses distinctive red hair styled with a fringe above his right eye, violet eyes, and pale skin. His typical attire is a disheveled Gora Academy uniform, featuring a gray coat, gray pants, a red shirt, and black shoes.

Initially introduced as a slightly delinquent teenager, he jokes frequently and teases others, such as humorously suggesting romantic confessions or joining in to embarrass fellow travelers. Despite this playful exterior, he exhibits deep seriousness and unwavering determination regarding his personal mission to "destroy the world" and save his classmates. Underlying this focus is a kind nature, showing care for his friends, though not always overtly expressed.

His background is intrinsically tied to a tragic event at Ostia's Goran Academy. Fourteen years prior, while preparing for a cultural festival, he saved his classmate Dee Ensy Stratmitos from falling out a window, sacrificing his own life. This death triggered an unconscious collective wish from Class 3-4, desiring their happy days together to last eternally. The wish manifested as a time-looping sealed reality, resetting approximately every year on July 28th and trapping the class, including Dee, within Ostia.

Having physically died and been properly buried by a gravekeeper before the loop began, he exists uniquely outside the sealed city's rules. Unlike his classmates whose physical forms are confined within Ostia, he maintains a tangible body in the outside world. Conversely, Dee appears externally only as a ghost because her living body remains trapped inside. He dedicates those fourteen years to finding a method to break the loop and free his classmates. He views Dee's altered, protective behavior—born from her fear of vanishing if the loop ended—as an obstacle, even referring to her as his "enemy" within this context. Despite this conflict, he expresses gratitude for her companionship during their travels.

His special ability, "Buzzer Beater," grants him perfect accuracy, enabling him to hit any target he aims for. This power originated from a personal wish for basketball prowess, which ironically led him to quit the sport due to the boredom of guaranteed victory and the unethical advantage it provided.

He strategically seeks out the protagonist, recognizing her potential role in saving the world. Their meeting occurs at the Goran Academy clock tower, where he questions her worldview and motivations. Their relationship develops significantly through shared experiences in Ostia. He repairs her iconic shovel and gifts it to her, offering encouragement for her to remain true to herself. He acknowledges her profound impact on him, expressing confusion over his strong reactions whenever she is near and stating she leaves him speechless. His farewell includes a forehead kiss, though the precise nature of his feelings remains undefined.

To resolve the time loop and free Class 3-4, he ultimately chooses self-sacrifice. His plan hinges on his unique status: as the only deceased and buried class member, he would be the sole one unable to exist once the loop dissolved. However, the protagonist's sincere, powerful wish for him not to die intervenes at the critical moment. This wish allows him to transcend the loop's collapse and continue existing in the world, later seen with her at his gravesite.
