Description
Koji Mihama, a 15-16-year-old Capricorn born January 14, possesses ash brown hair and olive green eyes. He consistently wears his late father Takeyuki Mihama’s dog tag and a matching purple unit bracelet. Residing in Japan, he attends Kakkyoin Academy while pursuing careers as an idol, composer, and costume designer. Initially with Edel Rose, he later forms the core of Over The Rainbow alongside Hiro Hayami and Kazuki Nishina.

Naturally kind and soft-spoken, Koji exhibits fierce anger when provoked. He balances strictness with protective devotion toward his mother Natsuko Mihama and romantic interest Ito Suzuno. Though occasionally enigmatic, his actions always stem from good intentions. His passions center on music composition—primarily using the guitar—and cooking.

His past is shadowed by tragedy: his father died in a car accident involving Ito’s father, creating enduring family tension that initially makes Natsuko oppose his relationship with Ito. His story gains momentum when Naru Ayase overhears him singing on a rooftop, inspiring her during her struggle to create a "My Song." Initially refusing Naru’s song request due to his music’s personal significance, he ultimately composes "Heart Iro Tori Dream" for her after witnessing her sincerity.

Koji’s bond with Ito deepens through music. When Ito writes a song for Hiro, Koji intervenes by giving Hiro his own song "Pride" to shield her from exploitation—prompting Hiro to falsely claim its authorship and expose their past conflict. Koji later rearranges Ito’s unreleased composition as a musical love letter, sparking mutual feelings. They confess during a fountain-side kiss and begin dating, though family strife forces a temporary separation. Reconciliation follows when both families confront their shared history.

Later, Koji displays significant growth, adopting a livelier demeanor after resolving conflicts with Hiro and his family. He composes for a Hollywood film, using the earnings to help settle Edel Rose’s debts. During this period, he wears his longer hair in a small ponytail, reflecting his matured perspective. His dedication to music and relationships remains unwavering throughout his journey.
