Description
Ito Suzuno, nicknamed Cross, is a 14-year-old girl born February 14th. She has purple hair with violet highlights, green eyes, stands 165 cm tall, and has blood type B. Her parents, Gen and Tsuru Suzuno, divorced after her father's career-ending guitar accident. She has a younger brother, Yū. Following the separation, Ito stayed with her father in Tokyo while her mother and brother moved to Hokkaido. Her mother left her a rainbow-striped handkerchief containing a purple Prism Stone, which Ito keeps as a memento. Driven by a desire to reunite her family, Ito works part-time to earn money to repurchase her father's sold guitar, believing its recovery could restore them. She previously proposed the family band "Crossroads" with her father on guitar, mother on keyboard, herself as vocalist, and brother on castanets.
Initially introverted and aloof, Ito maintains a cool, blunt demeanor and strongly dislikes being called by her first name. She prefers practical, dark-colored clothing over frilly or feminine attire but frequently wears high heels. Her personality shows tsundere tendencies, especially around her romantic interest, Kouji Mihama. She possesses exceptional musical sensitivity, perceiving the "heat" of music. Her skills include proficiency in makeup artistry and multi-instrumental talent, primarily electric guitar and keyboard, the latter taught by her mother.
Ito joins Prism Stone as a makeup manager primarily for income to buy back the guitar. Initially lacking enthusiasm for Prism Shows and customer service, she prioritizes her band activities. Her early performances, like a rock concert during Prism Stone's Easter event, fail to resonate due to perceived coldness. She resists friendships with coworkers Naru Ayase and Ann Fukuhara, though they persistently involve her. Character development begins after losing the Dreaming Session to Otoha Takanashi, motivating her to take Prism Shows seriously. She gradually warms to Naru and Ann, eventually permitting them to use her first name. Her romantic relationship with Kouji develops mid-series. A pivotal moment occurs in Episode 19 when she confronts her mother about the divorce, declaring her mother's enduring love for her father as the reason for their separation. This helps her family reconcile emotionally, though they remain physically separated. By the series' conclusion, she forms a rock band with her father, mother, brother, and Kouji as lead vocalist.
As a Prism Star representing the cool image brand, Ito performs using the Prism Rainbow Keyboard during Prism Lives. Her self-composed solo song is "BT37.5." She debuts her Prism Live in Episode 3 and earns her wings in Episode 19. She forms the temporary unit "ALIVE" with Otoha Takanashi for the Winter White Session duo competition, debuting their unit song in Episode 37. Her technical abilities progress significantly, achieving four consecutive Prism Jumps with Otoha in Episode 41 and six consecutive jumps in Episode 47. Her Seventh Coord costume evolves fully in Episode 47, and she obtains the Cool Rainbow Crown in Episode 50.
In spin-off media like the King of Prism film series, Ito appears with altered hairstyles—short wavy hair in the 2016 film and long hair in *King of Prism: Pride the Hero* (2017)—maintaining a speaking role. A Prism Star Visual Book confirms that 10 years after the events of *Rainbow Live*, she has long hair.
