TV-Series
Description
Moloch is a demon who serves under the detective Akutabe alongside other summoned devils. He is a brown, cow-like demon that embodies the concept of tyranny when in his true hell form, where he appears as a massive, intimidating bull-like creature similar to a minotaur, with narrow slit eyes and a menacing expression. However, when summoned into the human world through Akutabe's anti-demon barrier, he is reduced to a small, cute, and weakened animal form, much like other demons in the series.

Moloch is widely regarded by his fellow demons as the most violent and dangerous of them all. Azazel and Beelzebub are notably terrified of him, especially when he becomes angry. Akutabe himself acknowledges Moloch as being on a higher league compared to his other demon servants. Moloch's personality is quick-tempered, demanding, and aggressive; he insists on receiving a proper tribute when summoned and is easily insulted by trivial offerings. Despite his fearsome reputation, he also displays a surprisingly sensitive and emotional side, as seen when he is tricked into eating beef curry and returns to Hell in tears, with Azazel trying to comfort him.

His primary motivation is to assert his dominance and receive the respect he believes he deserves. He punishes those who disrespect him, as demonstrated when he turns Rinko Sakuma into a cow after she offers him only curry as a tribute. His ability is referred to as Tyranny, though its specific effects are not clearly explained in the story. He also has the power to transform humans into animals in retaliation.

Moloch plays a supporting role in the series, often appearing when accidentally summoned or when Akutabe calls upon him. He is considered a higher-tier demon compared to others like Azazel and Beelzebub. His key relationships include a respectful fear of Akutabe, who forces him to accept the curry tribute, and a tense dynamic with the other demons, who avoid angering him. In the second season, a younger brother named Mossan the Second is introduced, who possesses an even worse temper than Moloch.

Development for the character is limited, but a significant event occurs when the angel Sariel takes Moloch's grimoire to Heaven, resulting in his death. This marks the end of his presence in the story. Overall, Moloch serves as a representation of brute force and unyielding pride within the series' comedic supernatural setting.
