Description
Moloch, a bull-like demon embodying wrath, is originally bound to detective Akutabe through a supernatural contract. Renowned for his brutal efficiency, he commands fear among infernal peers like Azazel and Beelzebub, especially when provoked. His dual manifestations include a deceptively harmless chibi form—a horned brown calf in casual attire—and a towering hellish visage reminiscent of a minotaur, marked by piercing slit eyes and an aura of primal threat.
Typically reserved, Moloch’s demeanor fractures into unrestrained fury when confronted, favoring ruthless physical solutions. A peculiar vulnerability lies in his hatred for beef consumption, a rage-trigger rooted in his accidental summoning via beef curry—an incorrect sacrificial offering that first anchored him to the human realm.
In earlier chronicles, Moloch meets permanent dissolution after the angel Sariel seizes his grimoire, severing his resurrection cycle. This demise paves the way for Mossan II, a younger brother who assumes the Moloch mantle. Inheriting wrath’s legacy, Mossan II surpasses his sibling’s ferocity, driven by vengeance against Akutabe. Despite heightened aggression, he is rapidly subdued by the detective’s merciless tactics, fleeing after recognizing Akutabe’s unflinching lethality.
Moloch’s signature ability, “Violence,” lacks explicit documentation but is universally recognized as a combat advantage cementing his supremacy over demonic rivals. Though both Moloch iterations wield unmatched physical dominance, their vendettas falter against Akutabe’s calculated mastery of occult strategy, leaving wrath’s lineage perpetually outmatched.
