Description
Pianitchi is a female Tamagotchi character originating from the anime *Tamagotchi! Yume Kira Dream*, later appearing in subsequent series, virtual pets, and spin-offs. Her background includes early music studies in Melody Land under her father, Papapianitchi, an instrument doctor, before returning to Dream Town to live with her mother, Mamapianitchi, who runs the Music Café.
Physically, she is white with curly locks framing her face and a forehead curl. Her standard outfit features a pink dress with round sleeves, a dark pink tie, purple stockings, and a purple beret bearing a stylized "P". Removing the beret reveals cat-like ears. She has purple sparkling eyes and rosy pink cheeks.
Her personality blends friendliness, outgoingness, and a level-headed nature. Music defines her, particularly her skill with the Smapi, a mini instrument used to add sound effects to conversations. She aspires to live surrounded by music and enjoys performing. While adoring both parents, she sometimes expresses exasperation with her father's habits, like overcommitting to instrument repairs or mishandling finances.
In *Yume Kira Dream*, Pianitchi debuts aiding Mametchi during distress over Ikaritchi. Her return reunites her with her mother at the Music Café. She joins the Music Class at Dream School and co-founds the band Kirakira Girls, serving as its organizer and pianist. Story arcs involve visits to Melody Land, reconnecting with her father and childhood friend Taikotchi, and efforts to restore a precious piano requiring rare "Rainbow Strings".
*Miracle Friends* explores her relationship with Smartotchi, a time-traveler initially masked as the antagonist X-Kamen. Pianitchi is drawn to his piano skills before learning his identity. Discovering X-Kamen is Smartotchi, she reconciles his actions with his motive to preserve future music. A key moment involves a jungle expedition where Smartotchi injures his leg protecting her, leading to his confession about fearing future separation. Her insistence on cherishing present bonds softens his aloofness. Their unresolved farewell features him whispering inaudible words before departing, followed by a symbolic duet of "Clair de Lune" across time periods.
In *GO-GO Tamagotchi!*, Pianitchi integrates into the merged Dream Town and Tamagotchi Town. She bonds with Melodytchi, joining Lovelin's musical duo to form a trio. Performances include "Rainbow Melody" (where she plays piano) and a special "Happy Happy Harmony". She also reunites the Kirakira Girls upon Himespetchi, Yumemitchi, and Kiraritchi's return.
Across virtual pets, Pianitchi appears in multiple devices. She debuted on the Tamagotchi P's (Melody Land pierce), evolving when a female teen uses the Smapi three times. In Tamagotchi Friends, she requires perfect care and 15 shop meals. Later devices like the m!x, Pix, and Smart feature her as an NPC or marriage partner. On the Tamagotchi Uni, she is raisable via the LoveMelo ♪ Concert location by prioritizing the Smart Piano Pad item. She also appears in the Tamaverse as an NPC at events like the DoriTama School's Music Class.
