Description
Ikaritchi is a male character from the anime *Tamagotchi! Yume Kira Dream*. His name comes from the Japanese word "ikari," signifying both "anchor" – reflected in an anchor tattoo on his left arm and his dream of being a fisherman – and "anger," mirroring his initial gruff and irritable nature.

Physically, Ikaritchi has a green, pear-shaped body with grey facial hair, including thick eyebrows and a beard. His eyes are usually shut, appearing stern, but are small and blue when open. He wears a light brown tunic and carries a brown belt bag for his tools.

Ikaritchi's personality is marked by bitterness and isolation due to past hardships. A former fisherman, he spends most of his time building a boat in his garage, dreaming of returning to sea. Trauma made him solitary, distrustful, and quick to anger, especially when interrupted. He initially avoids social interaction, ignores conversations, and displays animosity towards children like Mametchi.

In *Tamagotchi! Yume Kira Dream*, Ikaritchi serves as Mametchi's homestay parent in Dream Town, assigned by Principal Omen. He neglects Mametchi, skipping his tea robot competition and scolding him for losing, causing Mametchi to run away briefly.

Ikaritchi's backstory involves a painful falling-out with his former apprentice, Aguritchi, which hardened him against new bonds. His transformation starts when Pianitchi arrives, revealing she knew him before his bitterness. With help from Mametchi, Pianitchi, and others, Aguritchi reconciles with Ikaritchi. This mends their relationship and opens Ikaritchi to emotional connections, making him happier and kinder towards Mametchi.

After finishing his boat, Ikaritchi leaves Dream Town to sail Tamagotchi Planet, distributing "anchor apples" invented by Aguritchi. Before departing, he transfers Mametchi's homestay care to Cafe Mama. His garage remains and is later repurposed as a practice space for the Kira Kira Girls.

Ikaritchi reappears briefly in the sequel *GO-GO Tamagotchi!*, in the episode "Laughing, Laughing, Another Gottsun!", shown sailing his boat while holding an anchor apple.
