Description
Hailing from another planet, Himespetchi shares childhood roots with Spacytchi on their home world. She debuted as a transfer student in Tamagotchi! anime season 6, arriving on Tamagotchi Planet for a study abroad program initially set for six months. She prolonged her stay to pursue feelings for Mametchi, joining the core Tama-Friends group permanently.
Her appearance includes a light pink tear-shaped head bearing a dark pink star on one side and a small yellow sphere atop. Distinctive oval-shaped eyes feature blue irises and multiple eyelashes, setting her apart from other Tamagotchi characters. She wears a black dress with a dark pink star, dark pink boots, white mittens, pale gray arms, and light pink legs.
Romantic and eccentric, Himespetchi often drifts into daydreams about Mametchi, envisioning him as "Ikemen Mametchi"—a sparkle-and-flower-adorned idealized version. These fantasies trigger obliviousness to her surroundings, causing emotional outbursts or self-talk that confuse bystanders and lead to embarrassment. Despite this, she remains enthusiastic, outgoing, and supportive of others' romances. She conceals her crush on Mametchi from most characters, unaware that Spacytchi harbors unrequited feelings for her. Though nervous near Mametchi, she generally projects public confidence, contrasting Spacytchi's shyness.
Her catchphrases "Gigakyun" (ギガキュン) and "Gigashun" (ギガシュン) reflect emotional extremes, translated in English adaptations as "Giga crush" or "Giga love." She uses the pronoun "Uchi" (うち)—potentially a space-themed nod to "Uchuu"—without full Kansai dialect, occasionally employing the unconventional plural "uchitachi."
Technologically adept, she utilizes her "Himespe Phone" for romance-focused fortune-telling and owns a UFO with a floating food-generating device. She fears small creatures like insects and slugs.
Romantic pursuits drive key storylines: she aids Ringotchi in courting an unnamed crush, then despairs upon discovering it is Mametchi. She still assists Ringotchi, who later gifts her a Ferris wheel ticket for a ride with Mametchi. In another arc, a fantasy kiss with Mametchi causes amnesia, leading to brief infatuation with Prince Tamahiko. Her memories return at the Ferris wheel's sight, though Prince Tamahiko develops feelings for her afterward.
When Mametchi, Memetchi, and Kuchipatchi move to Dream Town for studies, Himespetchi follows, rejoining them in *Yume Kira Dream*. She departs Tamagotchi Planet for Spacy Land in season 2, episode 35, but resurfaces in later series like *GO-GO Tamagotchi!* with unchanged traits.
Across virtual pets, she debuted as a raisable character in *Tamagotchi iD L Princess Spacy ver.* under specific care conditions. Later appearances include *Tamagotchi P's*, *Tamagotchi Friends*, *Tamagotchi 4U/4U+*, and *Tamagotchi m!x* (exclusively as a Spacy-version marriage partner). In *Tamagotchi Pix* and *Tamagotchi Uni*, she appears as a non-playable character encountered via specific interactions or locations.
