Description
Megumi Amatsuka is the middle child of the Amatsuka family and a first-year high school student who belongs to the GJ Club alongside her older sister, Mao, and her younger sister, Seira. She is slightly taller than Mao and has short pink hair and pink eyes. Her nickname is Megu. Within the club, she naturally takes on the role of a caretaker, always seen preparing tea and snacks for the other members and tidying up after their activities. She is consistently calm, polite, and patient, providing a grounding presence even when the rest of the club grows excitable or chaotic. Unlike her older sister, who is impulsive and short-tempered, Megumi is mature and refined, and she often acts as a mediator between Mao and the club’s sole male member, Kyoya Shinomiya. She is talented at knitting and baking, and she enjoys keeping the clubroom comfortable and welcoming. Her primary motivation is the well-being and comfort of her friends, and she takes quiet satisfaction in maintaining the club’s warm atmosphere. Despite her composed exterior, she is insecure about her weight and frequently mentions dieting or expresses concern over her figure, a running personal struggle that adds a layer of depth to her otherwise serene personality. Over the course of the story, Megumi remains a stable and supportive figure whose development centers on her unwavering dedication to her friends and her minor but recurring battles with self-image. She shares a close and friendly relationship with Kyoya, often acting as a buffer during his interactions with Mao, and she is equally kind and supportive toward the other club members, Shion and Kirara. Her most notable abilities are her domestic skills—tea-making, baking, and knitting—which she uses to create a cozy, relaxed environment in the clubroom.
