Yume Miyamoto is a Japanese actress and voice actor born on January 22, 1997, in Fukuoka Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent agency Himawari Theatre Group. Miyamoto began her entertainment career as a child actor at the age of four after joining the agency, and she moved to Tokyo at six to further pursue acting. Her early work included roles in television dramas and films, as well as providing the Japanese voice for Lilo in the animated series Lilo & Stitch: The Series. She holds certifications in vocabulary and practical English skills.

Her first main role in an anime series came in 2013 when she voiced Megumi Amatsuka in GJ Club. This was followed by a string of increasingly prominent roles. In 2017, she played Rumia Tingel in Akashic Records of Bastard Magical Instructor. The following year, she gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Rikka Takarada in the anime SSSS.Gridman, a role she would reprise in subsequent Gridman universe projects, including the 2023 film Gridman Universe.

Miyamoto's career continued to build with a wide variety of characters throughout the early 2020s. Her notable roles from this period include Haru Nonaka in Sing "Yesterday" for Me, Hitomi Hino in Seton Academy: Welcome to the Pack, Rei Okada in Tamayomi: The Baseball Girls, and the lead role of Haruka Murakami in the 2019 anime film Fragtime. In 2021, her work spanned multiple series, including Mei Kamino in Godzilla Singular Point, Shuri Maeda in Those Snow White Notes, Maki Kuwana in Blue Period, and Tamako Shima in Taisho Otome Fairy Tale. That same year, she took on the lead female role of Magine in the live-action superhero series Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger, marking her return to television dramas after several years.

The year 2022 saw Miyamoto in several significant supporting and main roles. She was the voice of Shiho Sawaragi in Tomodachi Game, Rion in Black Summoner, and Nika Nanaura in the first season of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury. In November 2022, her agency announced she would be taking a hiatus from some activities to focus on recovering from a period of poor health. She returned to work in February 2023 and resumed her role as Nika Nanaura for the anime's second season.

Since her return, Miyamoto has continued to be active and has taken on a number of leading roles. In 2023, she voiced Risa Higuchi in AI no Idenshi, Tirumina in the second season of Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear, and Raeliana McMillan in Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion. The year 2024 marked a particularly busy period. She starred as Rouge Redstar in Metallic Rouge, Hibiki Rio in Brave Bang Bravern!, Himari Azuma in Chained Soldier, Kosame in Snack Basue, and Chisaki Shino in the ONA Garouden: The Way of the Lone Wolf.

Beyond her voice work, Miyamoto has demonstrated a range of skills. She is known for her singing, having performed theme songs for series like GJ Club and Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor alongside her co-stars. She is also skilled in jazz and hip-hop dance. Alongside fellow actor Hiroshi Yuya, she won the "Best Funny Radio" award at the 5th Anime Radio Awards for their work on a radio show related to SSSS.Gridman.
