Description
Kanon Tōdō is a Prism Star from Kyoto, Japan, debuting as one half of the duet Serenon alongside her best friend Serena Jōnouchi. Together, they perform Prism Shows and manzai comedy routines, where Kanon expertly delivers the "tsukkomi" straight-man role against Serena's "boke" funny-man antics, often using Kansai dialect.

She possesses brown curly hair and golden-brown eyes. At age 14 in *Pretty Rhythm: Aurora Dream*, her hair is shoulder-length with curled segments framing her face. By age 17 in *Dear My Future*, it shortens, thins, and rests behind her shoulders with looser waves and shorter bangs, revealing more of her forehead. Her fashion evolves across seasons, including coordinated Prism Show outfits with Serena and casual wear reflecting trends like floral patterns or tartan skirts.

Kanon balances grace and kindness, contrasting Serena’s bluntness. She demonstrates fierce loyalty to Serena but initially exhibits possessiveness and rivalry, particularly toward Rizumu Amamiya due to Rizumu's closeness to Kanon’s older brother, Hibiki Tōdō. Kanon actively interferes with their interactions and openly expresses intense affection for Hibiki. This rivalry softens over time: during *Aurora Dream*, she gradually allows Hibiki and Rizumu space, and by *Dear My Future*, she fully accepts their relationship, respectfully addressing Rizumu as "Onee-sama" after their marriage. Her growing maturity makes her more tolerant and straightforward in expressing emotions.

Professionally, her agency dissolves after *Aurora Dream*, leading her and Serena to join Pretty Top under Kyoko Asechi. She continues Prism Shows and manzai, often seen in her signature comedic attire. In *Dear My Future*, she mentors newer idols like PURETTY, advising them to avoid over-analysis and focus on doing their best. Her future, envisioned by Mia Ageha, confirms sustained success as a celebrated manzai performer with Serena.

Her family includes father Yoshimitsu, mother Shino, and brother Hibiki. Through Hibiki’s marriage to Rizumu, she gains extended ties to the Amamiya family, including Rizumu’s parents and sisters.
