Glenn, a middle-aged member of the Earth Federation Forces' Skull Unit, was part of a team that included the pilot Eiji. The two were present at a high-altitude rock formation on Earth where they discovered an object known as the Beauty Memory. Acting on intelligence gleaned from this discovery, Glenn and an individual named AG traveled via space elevator to geosynchronous orbit to board the battleship Tatsu no Otoshiko. Their mission was to rush toward a massive ring colony in lunar orbit, drawn by the secret of the Legacy of Amuro.

Captain Glenn led the Skull Unit in an infiltration of the ring colony, where they located the Legacy. Their operation was compromised when AG was revealed to be a spy for the EX colony faction. Fearing the ring colony would become an advance base for EX's supremacy over Earth, Glenn and his unit attempted to destroy it. Their effort was halted by AG and Yuria, who deployed the operational RX-78-2 Gundam. The Skull Unit was exterminated in the ensuing conflict.
