Jin Yomoda is a sumo wrestler from Asahigawa Stable. A graduate of Eigadai Affiliated High School, he captained its sumo club. Physically imposing, Jin stands 184cm tall and weighs 165kg, with spiked black hair and black eyes. He competes in a red mawashi featuring a light green stripe and wears his school's red jacket outside the ring.

Jin possesses sumo skills comparable to a yokozuna but has never earned a moniker due to inconsistent tournament results. While frequently placing within the top four in individual competitions, he has never won a bout in team events. His fighting style heavily utilizes his formidable core strength to lift opponents, a tactic that sometimes leads to him taking unnecessary damage, as seen in his match against Gojo Yuma.

His competitive history includes notable bouts against Tennōji Shidō and Gojō Yūma. After high school, Jin joined professional sumo with Asahigawa Stable. During the July tournament in Nagoya, he faced Hinomaru Ushio, who was making his return to the top makuuchi division after recovering from a serious arm injury.
