Description
Akiharu Hino, orphaned in childhood, was taken in by an uncle driven by inheritance claims, leading him to enroll in Hakureiryou Academy’s servant education program to avoid imposing on relatives. His rugged features—messy brown hair, a scar above his left eyebrow, and piercing red eyes—foster a delinquent stereotype, though his true personality contrasts starkly. Beneath the intimidating exterior lies a principled, compassionate individual who consistently aids others, despite recurring misunderstandings. These misinterpretations often stem from accidental indecent encounters, like stumbling into suggestive scenarios or unintended physical contact, frequently manipulated by childhood friend Tomomi Saikyō. Once his bully, Tomomi now engineers schemes to humiliate him, maintaining a tense dynamic where Akiharu respects her cunning but distrusts her motives.

His relationships shape his journey. A fiery rivalry blooms with Selnia Iori Flameheart, a prideful upperclassman nicknamed “Drill” for her spiraled hairstyle, whose temper clashes with his blunt honesty. Unaware of romantic undercurrents, Akiharu unwittingly fuels a love triangle between Selnia and Tomomi. Bonds deepen with roommate Kaoru Daichi, a cross-dressing girl concealing her gender, and Ayse Khadim, a timid foreign student entangled with him in an accidental marriage pact from cultural confusion.

Pivotal moments underscore his evolution. Chess triumphs against Selnia unveil latent strategic prowess, while low alcohol tolerance sparks reckless decisions when intoxicated. Though peer relationships gradually warm, romantic obliviousness peaks when he invites Selnia and Tomomi to a waterpark with platonic intent, igniting their fury.

Resilience and loyalty anchor his growth. Persisting through false accusations and physical retaliation, he pursues his butler aspirations and dedication to others. Blunt speech and social awkwardness initially isolate him, yet his sincerity gradually wins trust. Lingering wariness of Tomomi’s pranks reflects their fraught history, though he counters her antics with dry wit, hinting at guarded reconciliation.
