Kana Shiraishi serves as second-in-command of the White Knights, alongside Rin Shiragiku. This group of female high school students operates under E T A I and student council president Miyu Shiratori. Kana enforces the White Knights' directives at St. Aero private Catholic school, where students vanish inexplicably and return with no memory.

She has light brown hair in short, broad bunches and brown eyes. Her attire is the school uniform with a tie, bow, and knee-high socks. She exhibits a provocative attitude in her interactions and duties.

During combat against salvager Aika Sumeragi in episode three, Kana and Rin attack using weaponized Alien Tendrils. Aika repels their assault, shattering their energy shield with gunfire. Rin evades the counterattack, but Kana reacts too slowly. She sustains multiple direct gunshot hits to her torso.

The ballistic trauma severely damages her uniform, tearing away the front of her dress and undergarments. She stands momentarily in shock, visibly wounded with projectiles embedded in her body. After a brief whimper, she collapses backward onto the ground. Her body lies motionless with limbs splayed. This defeat occurs during the White Knights' confrontation with Aika, who investigates the alien-controlled abductions.
