Approximately 300 years prior to the main timeline, the summoned Hero Chronoa sealed him within the Endless Prison barrier after he devastated a human city and assaulted the domain of Demon Lord Luminous Valentine—who still harbors resentment. This imprisonment isolated him in the Sealed Cave until Rimuru, a reincarnated slime immune to his overwhelming aura, entered.
