Description
Raku Majo leads the Four Great Magicians, the governing rulers of Jewel Land. Her name embodies the concept of comfort or ease, represented by the Kanji 楽 (raku). Pink is her associated color, and she possesses a signature reddish-pink heart-shaped jewel.

Despite her high rank, Raku Majo exhibits a notably relaxed and even irresponsible demeanor. She frequently displays laziness, delegating crucial tasks like retrieving lost Jewelpets to humans—a tendency suggesting foundational trust in humanity rather than negligence. Nevertheless, she demonstrates high intelligence and balanced judgment, avoiding the emotional extremes of her fellow magicians.

Her immense magical power befits her leadership role. A key ability allows her to create new Jewelpets using a specialized altar, resulting in the birth of Labra, a polar bear Jewelpet with significant latent powers.

Officially, Raku Majo coordinates interdimensional efforts to recover Jewelpets scattered on Earth. She maintains direct communication with the Prime Minister of Japan to ensure secrecy about the Jewelpets' existence. She also guides Rinko Kougyoku, holder of the Jewel Pocketbook, providing advice and Jewel Land history as needed. Historically, she spearheaded the Four Great Magicians' defeat of the antagonists Dian and Diana after their attempted revolution against humans.

Culturally, her name adaptation reflects her core trait; she is termed "Mage Sans-soucis" (No-worries Mage) in the French dub. While a linguistically accurate translation would be "The Easy Witch," Western localizations often use "mage" or "magician" to avoid connotations of malevolence associated with "witch." Her documented role remains centered on Jewel Land's governance, creation, and guidance.
