Description
Jean Descole, originally Hershel Bronev, navigates a labyrinth of vengeance and identity forged by loss. Born to archaeologists Leon and Rachel Bronev, his childhood fractured when Targent abducted his parents, orphaning him and younger brother Theodore. To secure Theodore’s adoption by the Layton family, he swapped their names, erasing Hershel Bronev and rebirthing Theodore as Hershel Layton. Adopted as Desmond Sycamore, he later built a family, only to see it shattered by Targent’s resurgence—a trauma crystallizing his rebirth as Jean Descole.
