Stefan Gossler was a highly accomplished German actor and voice artist, renowned for his extensive work in dubbing, particularly for anime and animation. Born in Siegen in 1955, Gossler pursued formal acting training under Else Bongers, which laid the foundation for a diverse and enduring career on stage and behind the microphone. He began his performance career in theater in 1979, with engagements at notable Berlin venues such as the Grips-Theater and the Hansa-Theater, and later showcased his satirical talents at the Stachelschweine cabaret theater.
Gossler's voice became widely recognized by German audiences through his numerous dubbing roles. He was the regular German voice for actor Jackie Chan in many of his films, a role he held since 1995. He also frequently lent his voice to actors like Tim Allen. In the realm of animation, he was known as the voice of King Julien in the Madagascar film series and the subsequent television series The Penguins of Madagascar.

In the Yu-Gi-Oh! universe, Gossler voiced two distinct characters: the antagonist Paradox in the film Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D: Bonds Beyond Time, and Para, one half of the Paradox Brothers, in the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series.
