Description
Kurimu Sakurano holds the presidency of Hekiyou Academy's 32nd Student Council. This third-year student sports pink/reddish hair, green eyes, and stands 148 cm tall. Her nickname "Aka-chan" stems from Chizuru Akaba, who adapted her first name into "Kurimuzon" (Crimson) and translated it to "Aka" (Red), while also referencing "baby" due to her childlike appearance despite her seniority. Born April 2 under the Aries zodiac with blood type A, she adores sweet foods but detests green peppers.

Before Hekiyou, Kurimu endured profound isolation. After moving, adult conflicts left her friendless for eight years as children avoided her. Even post-resolution, connections eluded her until age 14, when she met Anzu Tsuyuri during a hospital delivery. Their initially awkward encounter blossomed into friendship, with Anzu dubbing her "Ku-chan." When Anzu faced a critical operation, she extracted Kurimu’s promise to make more friends, fueling Kurimu’s active socialization at Hekiyou where she bonded with Chizuru Akaba and others.

Kurimu blends outsized ego with youthful immaturity, declaring her council "the world’s best" and herself "destined to be a god." She harbors delusions of a 170 cm height and F-cup bust, contrasting her modest frame. Academically weaker than fellow council members, she struggles with formal meetings, often derailing them with unrelated quotes. She secured the presidency through popularity, not merit.

Her first interaction with Ken Sugisaki occurred when he aided her with boxes or books in his first year. After Ken sought self-improvement, Kurimu advised dating simulation games, citing their protagonists’ ability to make others happy—unintentionally sparking Ken’s eroge obsession. Kurimu alone forgets this initial meeting. Their relationship evolves into dating, though Kurimu conflates her feelings for Ken with platonic affection for Chizuru and others, attributing this to emotional immaturity.

Kurimu honors her promise to Anzu through ongoing contact but grapples with Anzu’s altered personality. Symbolically linked to spring, she initiates ideas and pursues broad goals in council work. She leans heavily on Chizuru for emotional support, shedding inhibitions to act childishly around her.
