Description
Kiyoh Littner, born Kiyoh Bachika, serves as the eldest among Kittan Bachika's three younger sisters. Viral's destruction of their home village, Bachika, forces the siblings to flee, driving them to become beastman hunters.
Physically, Kiyoh possesses long blonde hair and blue eyes, along with a notably large bust. She displays strong combat abilities, first proven when fighting her way out of an enemy Gunmen. Initially assisting in Dai-Gurren's control room, she transitions to frontline combat in Episode 13, taking over as pilot of the Dayakkaiser Gunmen after its original pilot, Dayakka, assumes command duties aboard Dai-Gurren.
Throughout the Beastmen War, Kiyoh fights in pivotal engagements like the assault on Lordgenome's palace. Following Kamina's death, she overcomes the collective despair and commits fully to piloting Gunmen. After the war's conclusion, Kiyoh marries Dayakka and becomes pregnant. Her daughter, Anne, is born during the Anti-Spiral crisis; Anne's birth pushes the human population to one million, triggering the Humanity Annihilation System.
In "The Lights in the Sky Are Stars," Kiyoh plays a pivotal role in convincing Nia to accept Simon's marriage proposal. When Nia initially rejects Simon based on a literal interpretation of his poetic language, Kiyoh clarifies his metaphorical meaning, stressing the importance of shared emotions, which prompts Nia to reconsider. During the Anti-Spiral attack, Kiyoh gives birth at a hospital subsequently attacked. She evacuates to the Arc Gurren with other survivors, witnesses the space battle from there, and remains on Earth afterward. She later appears during the final confrontation with the Anti-Spiral's Grand Zamboa, reacting to Dayakka proclaiming her superiority during his attack. Kiyoh attends Simon and Nia's wedding, showing shock at Nia's disappearance.
Within the manga adaptation, Kiyoh and her siblings appear earlier, specifically during Team Gurren's time in Littner Village, where they recount Viral's destruction of Bachika Village, providing additional context for her background compared to the anime and film.
