Her family includes an older sister, Hikaru, who worries about Ame's mental state and daydreaming tendencies, and a mother with an undefined relationship. Ame's classmates Yukihime and Madoka occasionally aid her protective missions for Juu.

Embracing the "denpa" archetype, Ame exhibits unconventional reality perceptions. Her room houses fantasy novels, sci-fi media, and disturbing online content, possibly reinforcing her delusions.
