Kajika Louisa Kugami Burnsworth, only daughter of industrialist Harry Burnsworth, lost her mother at age two during a kidnapping attempt. Relocated to the Caribbean island of Giviolle, she spent roughly ten years in isolation under the care of native islander Maria. Her childhood companion was a snow leopard named Mustafa, gifted by acquaintance Li Ren Fang, who visited biannually. Her character evolves throughout the series. Initially oblivious to romance, she experiences her first kiss with Rumaty and gradually discerns romantic feelings. She exhibits fierce protectiveness when loved ones are threatened, though her anger fades quickly. Navigating Raginei’s coups, betrayals, and life-threatening danger while supporting Rumaty’s claim to the throne solidifies her maturity. By the story’s end, she embraces her identity as Mahaty’s granddaughter and accepts her future alongside Li Ren.
