TV-Series
Description
Kazuki Ichijo serves as the younger brother of Miki Aono, a central figure in the series. At 13 years old, he resides with their father after their parents' divorce, an event preceding the story. This family shift led Kazuki to adopt his father's surname, Ichijo, while Miki retained their mother's surname, Aono, making him the first sibling of a Cure without a shared surname.

He sports blue hair extending to his chin and indigo eyes. His typical school uniform features a predominantly white jacket with grayish-blue trims and a small left-side pocket, complemented by grayish-blue loafers. Casually, he dons a checkered pearl blue shirt beneath a light brown coat, paired with grayish-blue trousers and grey sneakers.

Previously characterized by bashfulness and tearfulness before the divorce, Kazuki evolved into a more confident and courageous individual afterward. Despite a somewhat sickly constitution that concerns Miki, he displays bravery in perilous situations, such as urging her to flee while confronting threats himself. His health gradually improved, and he maintains a positive outlook on his future, including college aspirations and a long-term ambition to become a doctor.

Kazuki shares a close bond with Miki. To discourage other boys from pursuing her, he occasionally pretends to be her boyfriend in public—a ruse aided by their separate households keeping him unknown to her peers. They frequently spend time together swimming, shopping, or visiting cafés, avoiding detailed discussions of their parents' divorce and instead reassuring each other that all is well.

His debut occurs when he approaches Miki and her friends, leading Love and Inori—unfamiliar with him after years apart—to briefly mistake him for Miki’s boyfriend. Later, during a café outing interrupted by a monster attack, Kazuki collapses in the bathrooms and is rescued by Miki in her Cure Berry identity. At Christmas, he and other Cure family members discover the girls' secret identities. Though concerned for their safety, Kazuki and the families resolve to trust them in their mission.
