Description
Iisu, also known as Eas, begins as a fiercely loyal operative of Labyrinth under Moebius. Her initial appearance showcases light silver hair with sharp bangs, piercing red slit eyes, and a signature black-and-red armored ensemble accented by crimson diamond-shaped gems and thigh-high boots. As an antagonist, she commands Nakewameke monsters against humanity while relentlessly pursuing Moebius’s validation, frequently sacrificing her own safety.

Adopting the alias Setsuna Higashi, she infiltrates the human world to spy on the Pretty Cure team. This human guise features dark purple hair and casual wear including red shirts and khaki shorts. While covertly sabotaging the Cures, she forms an unexpected bond with Momozono Love and her teammates. Prolonged exposure to their kindness fractures her loyalty to Labyrinth, sparking intense inner turmoil. Her conflict peaks when she sacrifices her life for Love during a decisive battle, fulfilling her predetermined lifespan.

Revived by Chiffon and the Akarun, she is reborn as Cure Passion—the fourth Pretty Cure. Her new form boasts long light pink hair and a red-and-black dress adorned with a white star tiara, garnet heart accessories, and the Fresh! insignia. Her transformation phrase echoes: "The scarlet heart is the proof of happiness! Freshly-ripened, Cure Passion!" Initially withdrawn and guilt-ridden over her past, she blossoms into a more cheerful persona while residing with Love’s family and joining their dance troupe, Clover. Wielding the Passion Harp, she fights alongside the Cures, embodying happiness and the clover symbol.

Her relationships transform drastically: hostility toward Love evolves into a sisterly bond; indifference toward teammates Miki and Inori shifts to mutual reliance; and former Labyrinth comrades like Westar transition from disposable tools to reconciled allies after Moebius’s defeat. Though opposing Moebius, she retains lingering concern for him, appealing to his humanity in their final clash. Post-Labyrinth, she aids its reformation with Westar and Soular.

In the film, she briefly accesses an enhanced "Cure Angel" form with white wings, introducing herself alongside the team. Her winter and dance attire reflect her human integration, featuring practical denim jackets and dance sneakers.

The alias "Higashi Setsuna" nods to her Eas identity ("Higashi" meaning east), while her given name suggests Japanese terms for "moment" or "sadness," mirroring her transient, sorrowful origins. As Cure Passion, her name draws from the passion fruit, symbolizing her core theme of happiness.
