He operates secretively and cunningly, manipulating others to achieve his political ambitions. Damiya aims to sever the long-standing bond between the Shin-Oh region and the Tai-Koh region, ruled by Grand Duke Oran, believing this separation would consolidate power differently. To advance this agenda, he manipulates key figures including Grand Duke Oran, influencing military decisions such as involving the Grand Duke's sons in Touda demonstrations. Damiya secretly leads or coordinates the Sai Gamulu, an underground organization dedicated to assassinating the Shin-Oh and overthrowing the existing power structure to install the Grand Duke as sole ruler. He orchestrates the assassination of Shin-Oh Harumiya using a covert Touda troop. Damiya exploits regional tensions and ecological crises like insect swarms causing famine to destabilize the Shin-Oh's reign and incite public unrest. Regarding Erin, he initially views her unique ability to bond with royal beasts as a potential weapon for war and assigns his operative Kirik to monitor and manipulate her at Kazalm Ohju Breeding School.
