Description
Nugan, younger son of the Aluhan (Grand Duke Oran) and brother to Shunan, resides in Lyoza's military-governed eastern territory. He reveres his ancestor Yaman Hasalu and is convinced the Aluhan must shoulder the moral burden ("defilement") of warfare to protect the divine Yojeh's purity, directly opposing Shunan's reformist stance.

Though Nugan initially respects Shunan, their father's overt favoritism toward the elder brother nurtures a bitter sibling rivalry. This resentment makes him vulnerable to manipulation by Damiya, the Yojeh's ambitious nephew. Damiya exploits Nugan's craving for validation and inflames his traditionalist beliefs, urging him to uphold the Aluhan's "true" purpose.

As political tensions erupt into civil war, Nugan betrays his family by joining Damiya's faction. During the pivotal clash at Tahai Azeh, he assassinates his father, the Aluhan, preventing him from accepting the Yojeh's surrender flag. This act cements his role in Damiya's coup attempt.

Nugan's actions arise from ideological rigidity, personal insecurity, and manipulated loyalty. His path underscores the destructive impact of political schemes on family bonds.
