Naru Kawamoto is a Japanese voice actor, stage actor, musician, and entertainer born on July 13, 1974, in Tottori Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the talent agency Hagikure Kikaku. Kawamoto is recognized for a multifaceted career that spans voice acting, music composition and performance, live-action television, and stage productions.

Kawamoto is most widely known for his long-standing role as Takashi Kawamura in the long-running anime and media franchise The Prince of Tennis. He first voiced the character in the 2001 television series and has continued to play the role across numerous subsequent adaptations, including the original video animations The Prince of Tennis: The National Tournament Semifinal and The Prince of Tennis: The National Tournament Final, the theatrical films The Prince of Tennis: Two Samurais, The First Game and The Prince of Tennis: Eikoku-shiki Teikyū-jō Kessen!, and the later television series The Prince of Tennis II. His association with the franchise continued with the 2022 series The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup, where he not only reprised his role as Takashi Kawamura but also voiced a second character, Alan Hopkins.

Beyond his iconic role in The Prince of Tennis, Kawamoto has built a diverse portfolio of voice work in anime. Some of his other notable roles include GB in Ginga Densetsu Weed, Nugan in The Beast Player Erin, Austin O'Brien in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, and Mosuke in Gifū Dōdō!! Kanetsugu to Keiji. He also provided voices for characters in series such as Zipang, Gunslinger Girl: Il Teatrino, Dragonaut - The Resonance, and the recurring role of Baku's father in several installments of the Onegai My Melody franchise.

In addition to his voice acting, music is a significant component of Kawamoto's career. He is a skilled guitarist, composer, and lyricist. He has released solo albums, including GREATEST OVER in 2005 and C'mon every burning in 2007. He was also a member of the musical unit "Cap to Bin" with fellow voice actors Takahashi Hiroki, Tsuda Kenjiro, Onosaka Masaya, and Kiyasu Kohei, which was formed in connection with The Prince of Tennis franchise and released several CDs. His musical talents extended to performing theme songs for some of the anime in which he acted. He is also the vocalist for a band called Borkob Norman.

Kawamoto's work also extends to on-screen appearances. He has been a regular on various Japanese television programs and variety shows and has acted in television dramas and films. His work as a radio personality and narrator further demonstrates the breadth of his involvement in the entertainment industry.
