TV-Series
Description
Utu is a warrior permanently encased in armor, serving as the primary attacker in Neeba's adventuring party. Strategic camera angles consistently obscure his face whenever his helmet lifts, leaving his appearance and age ambiguous throughout the series. He fulfills a frontline combat role wielding a battle axe as his signature weapon.
During the first season, he separates from Neeba's group after a fall and travels alongside Kally and Coopa. Later, he becomes separated from Kally while actively defending Coopa from Pazuzu, though he later learns of Kally's fate and informs the group.
Six months after Neeba and Kaaya's betrayal, Utu adopts a new identity as the professional wrestler "Captain Morrow." In this role, he intervenes to prevent Jil and Fatina's arrest after they rescue a younger Ki. He subsequently rejoins Jil's newly formed company to climb the tower again, driven by the goal of saving Kaaya. Using his wrestling prize money, he acquires an enhanced axe capable of transforming into various melee weapons.
A recurring early element in the second season involves Utu's unrecognizability without his helmet; only Fatina identifies him initially. His character development culminates in confessing romantic feelings to Fatina in the final episode. Though she rejects his advances, they maintain their friendship. Following the tower's climactic events, Utu and Fatina embark on adventures together.
