Description
Jil is a 16-year-old adventurer driven to summit the Tower of Druaga and achieve status as a revered champion. He begins his climb as a defensive-class Guardian, wielding a shield featuring a retractable spike and makeshift weapons such as sticks. His exceptional physical resilience allows him to endure severe beatings and heavy blows without collapsing.

Initially part of his older brother Neeba's climbing party, Jil gets expelled due to perceived incompetence in battle. Neeba openly dismisses Jil's potential, predicting failure and the death of his friends. Jil subsequently joins Kaaya and Ahmey's party, later recruiting Melt and Coopa. During the battle against Druaga, witnessing Ahmey's death plunges Jil into intense self-doubt. Encouraged by the ghost of Ki, he assumes leadership and devises a strategy to defeat the monster. Kaaya enhances his shield with magic, and they share a kiss before the battle. Jil distracts Druaga while the others attack, ultimately delivering the killing blow with Ahmey's weapon. As he reaches for the Blue Crystal Rod, Neeba shoots him with an arrow. Both Neeba and Kaaya betray Jil, causing him and others to fall into a whirlpool. He survives with Fatina and vows to climb the tower again.

Six months later, Jil lives with Fatina and Kelb, burdened by depression stemming from the betrayal. He resumes climbing only after encountering a girl named Ki, who shows him a vision of Kaaya's impending death should he refuse to escort her to the tower's summit. Joined by Fatina, Utu, and the mage Henaro, Jil faces groups attempting to capture Ki or thwart their mission. They reunite with Melt and Coopa during the ascent. At the tower's peak, Jil confronts Neeba. Despite losing his armor and shield, he defeats Neeba and survives the tower's collapse.

Jil's combat abilities include deflecting ballistic attacks and heavy strikes, blocking Druaga's beam attacks, and casting barriers with his shield—likely augmented by Kaaya's spells. Without armor, he demonstrates notable speed due to reduced encumbrance. His equipment evolves from a basic spiked shield to one of King Gilgamesh's swords, entrusted to Kaaya for him. The character appears exclusively in *The Tower of Druaga: The Aegis of Uruk* and *The Tower of Druaga: The Sword of Uruk* based on the documented information.
