Description
Erenfried, a 14-year-old scientist within Arcadia’s Artifact Foundation, sports light maroon hair, golden eyes, and glasses over his standard-issue uniform. His relentless rivalry with Rayne, a colleague celebrated by Director Yorgo and the Foundation’s leadership, drives his every ambition. Eager to surpass Rayne and claim overdue recognition, he bristles at informal interactions, retaliating with overly formal titles to undermine his rival. Tasked with supervising Jet, a cyborg subordinate answering to both him and Yorgo, Erenfried channels his admiration for the director into high-stakes projects like the Jinx initiative—a pursuit that spirals into disaster when a miscalculation leads to Yorgo’s imprisonment.

Forced to abandon his quest for accolades, Erenfried pivots to rescuing Yorgo, only to face his own captivity. His rescue by J.D., a Jasper Doll deemed defective by the Foundation, upends his rigid beliefs as he witnesses her emotional depth and autonomy. This encounter propels an uneasy partnership with Angelique’s team, exposing him to ideologies that clash with his methodical worldview.

Though still fueled by a hunger for validation, Erenfried’s journey tempers his jealousy with accountability. He grapples with the consequences of his actions, reevaluates the humanity of artificial beings, and doggedly works to free Yorgo—all while clinging to the desire to prove his worth in a world that once overlooked him.
