Description
Aladdin is a street thief surviving through petty theft in Agrabah, driven by poverty yet possessing underlying kindness. His life changes when a mysterious Magician recruits him to retrieve a magic lamp from the Cave of Wonders. Inside the cave, Aladdin secures the lamp and discovers a sentient Magic Carpet. Rubbing the lamp releases a powerful Genie bound to grant three wishes. Aladdin uses his first wish to escape the collapsing cave. Seeking to elevate his status, he uses his second wish to become "Prince Ali," aiming to win a princess's affection. Throughout ensuing challenges, Aladdin repeatedly demonstrates resourcefulness and cleverness. This culminates in a confrontation with the Magician, who attempts to reclaim the lamp. Ultimately, Aladdin uses his third wish to grant the Genie freedom, signifying his transformation from a self-interested thief into a selfless individual. The narrative concludes with Aladdin maintaining his princely status through marriage to the princess, having earned his position through character rather than magic.
